Blacktron "Battrax II"

 
Built for the 2001 Blacktron I space contest, the Battrax II is my interpretation of what a larger version of the original Battrax would look like.  Wider tires and a bigger, center-mounted engine increase performance.  The rear module can stand alone as a laboratory, or it can attach to the cockpit and rocket nozzle modules to create a spaceship.  With the laboratory removed, the cockpit can attach to either end of the chassis, or to the rocket nozzles to form an escape pod.
